BioAustinCTX is Growing!

As the Life Science community in Central Texas continues to expand, BioAustinCTX is working to keep up with the growth by continuing to build and expand. We are looking to add key team members who will help us move to the next level.

Executive Director

This role requires a seasoned leader with deep expertise in the life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical technology, or healthcare innovation sectors. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in industry development, business strategy, sponsorship and stakeholder engagement, with a proven ability to scale sponsorship and membership organizations and drive impact.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Leadership and Industry Development
  • Membership Growth and Stakeholder Engagement
  • Operational and Financial Oversight
  • Program Development and Event Oversight

This is a part-time position transitioning to a full-time position.

Membership and Marketing Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated, tech-savvy, and results-driven Marketing & Membership Coordinator to manage our event planning and execution, membership engagement, marketing, and community-building efforts. This role requires a proactive self-starter that can organize and execute membership events, manage back office operations (web, social media, accounting system, membership renewals), and task and coordinate volunteers to accomplish BioAustinCTX projects.  This individual has the ability to work independently while driving measurable impact.

The ideal candidate is a dynamic communicator and digital strategist who excels at building relationships and knows how to leverage technology to expand audience reach and engagement. They will be critical in growing BioAustinCTX’s presence within the life sciences ecosystem, ensuring that our members stay engaged, informed, and connected.

This is a part time position with a flexible schedule and remote work

BioAustinCTX is seeking volunteers to assist with Grant Writing:
• Determines grant proposal concept by identifying and clarifying opportunities and needs, studying requests for grant proposals (RFPs), and attending strategy meetings.
• Prepares grant proposals by determining concept, gathering and formatting information, writing drafts, and finalizing.
• Supported by the BioAustinCTX Board

We partner with nearby businesses who offer learning opportunities (guest speakers, internships, apprenticeships, etc.), and connect them to local schools, post-secondary institutions, and those facing barriers to employment.
