The University of Texas Systemwide Brain Research Summit brings together national leaders, researchers from across various UT institutions, and key partners for collaborative discussions around advancing brain research in the state of Texas. Our objective are to:
Share clinical and basic research advancements occurring within University of Texas System (UTS) institutions across the state
Foster collaborative neuroscience research in Texas, especially among UTS institutions
Identify challenges and opportunities to advance brain research in Texas and nationally

The Texas Life Science Forum is the premier life science event in Texas that brings together members from industry, emerging life science companies, academic, and investors. The 2022 conference will be held in person on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at Rice University.

Join NAMSA’s team of testing experts as they lead a discussion on chemical characterization of materials and provide learning that will allow attendees to:
Relate ISO 10993-18:2020 to ISO 10993-1:2018 and the biological evaluation of devices
Discuss the changes in the new document in a practical use format
Discuss how material and chemical characterization fit into the MDR
Develop a testing strategy for multiple devices
Plan for future testing needs of materials and finished medical device
Solve problems that may occur during testing, such as a degraded sample or liquid test articles
