SPOTLIGHT

Texas Health Catalyst Roundup & Rodeo

Dell Med’s Texas Health Catalyst Roundup & Rodeo is where we “round-up” current and alumni teams from across UT Austin to showcase and celebrate their rich entrepreneurial projects and talent alongside key players within UT and Austin’s life sciences communities. Enjoy some BBQ & learn up-close about evolving projects that bring unique biomedical solutions to health challenges.

This spring, Dell Med’s Texas Health Catalyst, in collaboration with the Cockrell School of Engineering, College of Pharmacy, College of Natural Sciences, the Institute for Foundations of Machine Learning (IFML), the Center for Rare Diseases, and Discovery to Impact, put out a call for Outstanding Proposals in Health as well as specific requests for two targeted challenge areas: 1. AI in Health and 2. Rare Disease Therapies and Diagnostics.

Teams from across campus will gather to present their original ideas in a friendly ‘rodeo’ competition. This year’s cohort includes projects such as new medical devices for COPD monitoring, novel approaches and wearables to treat and diagnose stroke, tools for digital therapeutics, and more.

An amazing panel of presentations from prior Texas Health Catalyst program alumni will also give updates on their entrepreneurial journeys. We hope you can join us to support these teams, network and further expand our life science entrepreneurial ecosystem in Austin.

Registration is FREE so reserve your spot today.
