The dynamic landscape of reusable medical device cleaning validation poses substantial challenges for MedTech developers. Recent mandates from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the introduction of new AAMI ST98 requirements have further intensified the hurdles developers must overcome. In addition, Notified Bodies are now particularly focused on understanding the aging process of medical devices. It is crucial to explore optimal strategies to meet these evolving requirements.
