Gonzalez Convention Center from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Military Medical Industry Day events are intended to bring together military researcher organizations, industry, academia, non-profit organizations, and other organizations to exchange ideas and enable collaborative medical research and development (R&D), discuss military needs, obtain information on funding opportunities, and enable community commercialization opportunities to address needs and create lifesaving technologies.

Bio-Techne Seeking a Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager, CDx, will be responsible for developing and supporting high-value opportunities and strategic pharma partnerships and bringing brand awareness of Bio-Techne’s capabilities in the Companion Diagnostics area.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated success in business development in the diagnostic, pharmaceutical or biotech industry, preferably in companion diagnostics.
  • Understanding of the co-development process for CDx and the associated R&D, clinical, regulatory and commercial frameworks preferred
  • Familiarity with molecular diagnostics and pharmaceutical development and the major relevant underlying technologies
  • Ability to seek, drive, and execute long term, revenue driven opportunities in the pharma and biotech sector
  • Previous experience of presenting to key decision makers on business solutions and service offerings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated success working on a cross-functional team and leading commercial teams
  • Results-driven with demonstrated ability to find solutions to achieve company goals in an effective, efficient manner
  • Enthusiasm for domestic and international travel as required to support active projects
  • Minimum 4 years business development experience
  • Education – Bachelor’s in Life Sciences, preferably Biology, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, or Biochemistry; advanced degree (master’s or PhD) in any of these disciplines or business preferred.
