Judges/Volunteers needed for the Greater Austin Regional Science and Engineering Fair, February 18-21, 2026
The Greater Austin Regional Science and Engineering Fair (GARSEF) is one of the largest and oldest regional science fairs in Texas. In its 70th year, it now covers 14 counties and 55 school districts as well as private, charter and home schools. Junior and Senior Division students (middle and high school, respectively) will enter their projects in one of 19 different science categories, with winners in each advancing to the state fair, and the top overall projects advancing to the International Science & Engineering Fair. Since judging is competitive, we need subject matter experts in each category to evaluate the projects.
